Over 8 years of freelancing I've helped build e-commerce platforms, subscription services and industry software — sometimes as the sole developer, sometimes embedded in a bigger team. Mostly Laravel and Vue; comfortably Python and Django when the project calls for it.
I hold a master's degree as a Business Engineer in Management Information Systems (Handelsingenieur in de beleidsinformatica) — so I speak business as fluently as code.

I fully embrace AI: coding agents are a genuinely powerful tool that speeds up development — boilerplate, refactors, tests, exploring an unfamiliar codebase. Ignoring that means leaving speed on the table.
But a tool is not a standalone solution. An agent writes convincing code, even when it's subtly wrong. Without someone who critically reviews the output, guards the architecture and takes responsibility for what ships to production, you build fast — but not to last.
That's where my value sits: 8+ years of production experience decide which suggestions make the cut. That turns AI into a multiplier on both quality and speed, instead of a risk.
